Paul McIlvride is Vice President Airport Projects for DESIGNA, a world leading supplier of parking access and revenue control equipment, with over 18,000 installations worldwide, including more than 200 airports.

A native of Australia, Paul moved to the US in 2017. He is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience in parking, transportation, and mobility management. Paul began his parking career in 1990 as the CEO of a major Australian Parking Management company also active in Asia.

In 2012 Paul joined DESIGNA directly and in 2017 began his role as the Program Manager for the world’s largest parking contract with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey implementing new integrated systems to the major airports in New York and New Jersey. Successfully completing that project, Paul is now responsible for the Major Projects division of DESIGNA US where airports are a primary focus.

With a career encompassing over 300 DESIGNA installations worldwide, including over 40 airport installations, Paul is uniquely qualified to share his experience of how parking is now a critical part of the passenger experience.
