Technology is having a massive impact on all aspects of parking operations. This session will provide an overview of the different types of equipment and technologies found in a parking garage or lot.
At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Define the five categories of revenue control systems.
- Compare the different levels of revenue control systems and discuss when each level is appropriate.
- Identify revenue control equipment components.
- Understand the different types of signage systems commonly in use in parking facilities.
- Identify typical security equipment within a parking facility.
- Discuss typical cleaning and maintenance equipment within a parking facility.
The session will also include an opportunity for attendees to test their knowledge by answering some CPP practice exam questions.
