This is an online exam. Before you begin, please make sure you are in a quiet location and able to take the exam without interruption for the next 1-2 hours.

Once you begin the CPP exam, you must answer all questions in order. The CPP certification exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions. Each question will have a 90 second time limit. If you exit the exam before completion, only the questions you answered will be scored, possibly resulting in a failure. A score of 70 or higher is required to pass the exam.

During the exam the back button will be disabled. Your internet connection should be strong so you are not disconnected during the exam by your service provider. If you disconnect all progress will be lost and you will receive a zero for this section of the exam.

What Happens If I Do Not Pass The Exam?
Each CPP candidate will have two opportunities to take the exam. If after the second attempt you did not pass the exam, you will have to pay a retake fee to sit for the exam a third time.

You have up to one year to take the exam from the time you enroll.
