Ban Phommachanh is Field Operations Supervisor at the University of Delaware’s Parking Service Department. Since writing his first parking ticket as a Student Aide for the University of Delaware’s Department of Public Safety in the early 90s, Ban has never stopped thinking about parking. Even after leaving the University of Delaware and during his time working for Amazon.com and then Comcast as a program manager, he has always had to deal with Parking. Since returning to the University of Delaware’s Parking Service as Enforcement Supervisor in 2013, Ban has brought with him his curiosity and experiences in technology and parking from his travels around the country and the world.
The University of Delaware has 9,400+ spaces including 3 parking structures that service just over 23,000 students and approx. 4,400 employees.
